I heard that if you put crushed vitamins on the roots of a plant, it will grow better. My friend says its true?

But i dont believe it a bit. clarify.I heard that if you put crushed vitamins on the roots of a plant, it will grow better. My friend says its true?
For the most part, plants require different vitamins than humans do. Your friend is a creative thinker therefore, but inaccurate. Certain plants like some of the same vitamins and minerals as humans, particularly potassium and in some cases, iron. But you are better off buying a fertilizer with nutrients specific to the types of plants you are growing.I heard that if you put crushed vitamins on the roots of a plant, it will grow better. My friend says its true?
vitamin B-1 is the only one that's used on roots... and that one is good to prevent transplant shock... and if you're not transplanting the plant, it's not needed.....

stick with the Miracle Grow... and don't put it ON the roots, put it in water and feed the plant that way.... a little... not a lot.... or you'll burn it up.....
Your friend is full of it. People vits don't do anything for plants. Get some good old miraclegro for your ';plant';.
different plant's are suitable to their own soil types,if the plant in question is in it's preffered soil and correct location and it is pruned or cut back in late autum/early spring it should thrive.Don't assume that any plant will do well where you place it get asoil testing kit or probe to analise your soil and read the label on the plant for it's preffered location.
