Do most trees catch sunlight with their roots true or false?

Hmm. Sunlight. Roots. Hmm. Need to really think hard about that one.Do most trees catch sunlight with their roots true or false?
No, that would be impossible. The chloroplasts in the leaves process sunlight (photosynthesis). It's also the chloroplasts that give leaves their green colour :)Do most trees catch sunlight with their roots true or false?
Roots are underground, sunlight can't reach them.
